Alh. (Dr.) Akeem Salawudeen

Managing Director/CEO

Alh. Akeem Adebayo Salawudeen is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Tascon Plastic Industry Limited. He was born in Iwo Oke – Aba Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State. He completed his primary school at St. Felix Aba Ijesa, Ile Ife, Osun State. He then continued his secondary education at Ayinrin Adedeji Seconadary School, also at Ile Ife Osun State. From there he proceeded to Lagos State, where he started apprenticeship in trading. He did that for over a year, where he learnt buying and selling of wristwatches. He returned to Ilorin from 1991 to year 2000 where he went through Intense and comprehensive business tutelage under Alh. (Dr.) Kamoru Ibitoye Yusuf (KAMWIRE Industry.)

In the year 2001, he became independent and he incorporated the trading arm of his business and investment. Tascon Investment was into buying and selling of building materials like iron roofing sheet, nails, asbestos and so on.

In 2013, the zeal to grow further and led him into incorporation of Tascon Plastic Industries Limited, where he started the production of PVC Pipes of different sizes.

Alh. Akeem is a very resourceful and dogged entrepreneur who stops at nothing to achieve his goals he attended a couple of seminars in Nigeria and India on production of pipes and also understanding the recent developmental trend of this business. The man has made Tascon Plastic Industry a name to reckon with and trust in terms of waste pipes, and bore hole pipes; and has been able to reach practically the six geo-political zones of Nigeria and still striving to be the number one leading company in sub Sahara Africa.

Alhaja Shakirat Folashade Akeem Salawudeen

Deputy Managing Director

Alhaja Shakirat Folashade Akeem Salawudeen is the wife of the Managing Director Chief Executive Officer Tascon Industries (Nigeria) Limited  and  she deputizes him.  She completed her secondary education in 1995 from Govt Girls Secondary School, Oko Erin Ilorin, Kwara State.   She attended Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin between 1996 and 1998, where she obtained NCE Certificate in Business Education.  Alhaja Salawudeen had her University Education at the University of Ado Ekiti, where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration.

An energetic and enterprising woman who was brought up from a business background in her family, she is also engaged in various trading businesses in Ilorin. Her business venture won the best distributor of Big Cola in this region in 2016. She became a Director since 2002 and had contributed greatly to the growth of the company since joined the Management team of the company.

He is currently an undergraduate student of Afe Babalola University Ado, Ekiti, studying Civil Engineering.

Tolu Olupidi

General Manager | Tascon Plastic Industries Limited

Tolu Olupidi became the General Manager of the Tascon plastic Industry Limited in September 2017. He is a graduate of the University of Ilorin Mechanical Engineering department. He also has masters in business administration (MBA) from the Ladoke Akintola University. He has attended several customer relations training and management trainings. A seasoned, manager with several years of experience in different capacities. The company has witnessed strategic growth under his skillful and deliberate drive for success

Eluyode Segun (FCA)

Internal Auditor

Mr. Eluyode Segun is the internal auditor of the company. He joined the company in 2017 he has a degree from the University of Ibadan in Statistics.  A renowned and well experienced professional. A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He has experience across different organizations ranging from  manufacturing to service industry  and other places.

Rabindra Behera

Factory Manager

The Factory Manager is Mr. Rabindra Behera  has a Diploma in Plastic Technology and a post Diploma in Plastic Technology from CIPET, Bhubaneswar in India in 2011. He is an Indian with over 15 years experience out of which 5 years was in Nigeria working with companies in Nigeria at various aspects of production and engineering.  Working experience span  Sita Steel & Rollings Ltd Tanzania, Pipe & Fittings Co in Bahrain, Aron Pipes Pvt Ltd Surat, (Gujrat) Oriplast Limited Balasore Odisha India.

Kunle Ayantola

Human Resource Manager

Kunle Ayantola is the Human Resource Manager who was employed into the company in 2023. He is a graduate of Geography & Town planning from the University of Ibadan. He has Master degrees in Public Administration and Business Administration from University of Ilorin. He has diverse experience in Human Resources Management cutting across Manufacturing, Logistics, Hospitality, Communication and Service industry. He joined Tascon as the Human Resource Manager in 2023 and had been able to develop the workforce immensely and bring forth good workable policies. He has been able to establish some organizational reforms since joining Tascon. He has attended different workshops on work ethics and other Human Resource related training and courses. 

He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management and Nigeria Institute of Management.
